Stig Rune has eleven years' experience as a Special Investigator with The Norwegian Autority for Investigation and Prosecution of Economic and Environmental Crime (Økokrim), with specific responsibility for investigation of large-scale and complex corruption, tax- and VAT fraud, as well as manipulations of annual accounts and financial statements in connection with bankruptcy proceedings.
In PwC Stig Rune leads or participates in governmental or corporate investigations. He has directed large and international investigations. He has been in charge of investigations related to public donations to support human rights in developing countries. Stig Rune is educated as a police investigator and has a Master of Law from the Faculty of Law at University of Oslo. His specialization is within risk mitigation of corporate penal liability. He has taken his Master of Law degree on the discretionary nature of corporate penal liability.
