Oddgeir Wiig

Oddgeir has many years of experience of VAT with general industry and energy clients in Norway and abroad. Throughout his career, he has advised numerous clients in connection with VAT audits performed by the tax authorities. Before joining PwC, Oddgeir worked as a senior tax consultant for the tax office (skatteetaten).
While working for PwC he has been responsible for advising clients, including performing the VAT reviews in due diligence assignments. Oddgeir has also assisted a number of municipalities in matters concerning VAT compensation. He is a frequently used speaker for clients both from the public and private sectors.
Oddgeir holds a Master's degree in Law from Bergen University (2002), specializing in domestic, corporate and international tax law. He is appointed as a member of the VAT committee at the Norwegian Bar Association.
