Maria Fonneløp Inderberg works as a lawyer in PwC Legal's Privacy, Security and Technology team. Inderberg has gained particular expertise in working with security as security is regulated in the GDPR, amongst other legal frameworks. She is also PwC's legal expert relating to country risk assessments. Inderberg is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E - IAPP), and is a Group Data Protection Officer for a corporation established in 17 countries.
Amongst other things, Inderberg is involved as a legal expert in projects where PwC leads tech development projects. Her role is to ensure that such development is in accordance with especially data privacy and information security regulations. She has also led or been part of the core team in projects where PwC has advised on the use of various tech solutions, such as the use of cloud based services.
Inderberg works closely with PwC's forensic team in multiple projects. This applies particularly to country risk assessments, where she assesses regulatory risk related to a company's establishment in non-European countries and/or where companies use services from non-European companies.
