Lars is part of the International Trade Group of the Indirect Tax department in PwC Norway. Lars works primarily with issues related to international trade, VAT, excise and customs duties.
He holds a law degree from the Law School of the University of Oslo. Lars has been with PwC since 2007, except for a year's stay as a senior attorney in another law firm. Lars has extensive industry experience from the oil and gas-, oil service-, shipping-, tourism- automotive-, and aviation industries. Lars assists national and international clients with clarifying formal obligations and proper indirect tax treatment, as well as identifying opportunities for simplifications and savings, in connection with activities in Norway and abroad. Prior to joining PwC, Lars worked for seven years as a lawyer in the Customs Administration and a regional Tax office. Lars is an experienced speaker in topics pertaining to international trade and indirect taxation.
