Laiz is a resourceful legal professional with experience in identifying and mitigating risks associated with the development, purchase, sales and use of technology. Laiz’s practice focuses on technology and data-related transactions and counseling, including drafting and negotiation of IT contracts and strategic alliances. Laiz also provides counseling on data security and data privacy matters and performs in depth compliance and risk assessments, creates relevant documentation, as well as technical implementation related to GDPR and other regulatory requirements as applicable to each sector. In addition, Laiz provides legal support during implementation of security standards such as ISO 27001 and ISO 27701.
She holds a LL.M (Master of Laws) in Public International Law from the University of Oslo and LL.B degree from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro in an international exchange with Sciences Po Paris. Laiz has work proficiency in English, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian and French.
